Between Denmark's town centre and Ocean Beach "The Yurt" is set amongst Weedon Hill's famous majestic karri trees and magnificent boulders a stones throw from Wilson Inlet. Inlet Views can be seen from the bedroom and upper level balcony, together with beautiful bush vistas from every window. The bath and cozy wood fire makes this a very romantic home away from home. In the same location as Skyhouse Retreat and The Cove Chalets. The Yurt has a queen size bed and is perfect for two guests. There are numerous bush walks within close proximity including the internationally renowned Bibbulmun Track running along the inlet foreshore. The quaint country town of Denmark is only 3km away and other popular tourist attractions are within close driving distance. We are situated in beautiful Denmark, one of the most beautiful towns in Australia, with spectacular scenery, enchanting tall Karri forests, snowy white beaches, crystal clear ocean waters, tumbling granite boulders and majestic limestone headlands; meandering perennial streams and protected fish-rich inlets skirted with an artist's paradise of paper bark trees, rushes, rocks and bays. It has a wealth of wildflowers, fauna and bird life. And above it all, the glorious sparkling night sky.

Located 5km from the Denmark town centre towards Ocean Beach. there are numerous beautiful walking trails within 100m of the front door (Bibbulmun Track is 2 minutes down the road). You can choose to walk along the Wilson Inlet or through beautiful woodland. Drive into town for fresh bread (from the award winning bakery) or an excellent at coffee at one of Demark's famous coffee shops - you must try the savoury muffins at Bibbulmun's cafe! There is lots to do - from swimming and snorkelling at Greens Pool's famous for its crystal clear water, catching a wave or two at Ocean Beach, visiting dozens of wineries. Denmark Cheese factory, restaurants, coffee shops and award winning local product Or just stay home and hang out in a hammock or read that book thats been sitting by your bed in the secluded garden! There's table tennis or badminton for the more energetic.... The house is white and bright, the garden faces north and is constantly bathed in sunlight. Inlet Cottage is an ideal holiday house for active families, or a secluded retreat for couples...

After the great success of our family fun retreat in October we have decided to hold another Family Fun Retreat in January at the Centre for Sustainable living in the Heart of Denmark. This provides a great opportunity for families to share with other families and also to easily access the delights of Denmark at this time of year.

Our Country Cottages are a home away from home with the "personal touch", ideal for singles, couples or large groups. We are located 13 km west of Denmark in the beautiful south coast region and is the perfect place to relax and unwind or join in the farm activities. And our location is an ideal base to explore the many features and attractions of Denmark and the surrounding areas of Albany, Walpole, The Porongorups and Stirling Ranges. Take a leisurely stroll around the farm or amongst the trees, or for the energetic the adjoining state forest is a wonderful place to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of nature amongst the tall and majestic Karri trees and splendid wildflowers. And if all this sounds too exciting why not just sit and read in front of your own wood fire or private balcony and enjoy the view over the rolling green hills with grazing animals and magnificient birdlife. In winter you can spend an evening around a roaring campfire, and a summer barbecue with us is a great way of enjoying the stars on a clear country night...

Newly refurbished the entire home is decorated and furnished with comfort in mind, from modern appliances and furnishing to neutral decor tones to maximise the realxing holiday vibe. Noah's features a modern kitchen and bathrooms, 2 spacious double rooms and 1 room with 3 single beds, plus a double size fold out couch in the second lounge. The upstairs master bedroom is the utlimate romantic adults retreat featuring a high curved ceiling, en-suite and french doors opening onto its own private balcony leading out to the rear garden. A newly built large outdoor entertaining deck opens directly off the open plan kitchen/living area and has a bbq and 8 seater table with umbrella plus child safety gates on all access points. This is a great spacious family entertainment area looking through the Karri Trees to Wilson Inlet. The property also features a second lounge with balcony upstairs which is perfect for sunbaking or just whiling the hours away with a book. Three bedroom (2Q + 2s) self contained cottage on a farm. TV/DVD. Radio/cassette/cd player. Gas stove, Gas BBQ & microwave. Dogs Welcome by arrangement. Our six horses are groomed and fed daily in their yards just by the cottage driveway. You are welcome to come and meet them. We have been a farm stay for well over ten years and we're proud that our "visitor's book" contains many comments from our guests expressing their happiness and satisfaction with the cottage and are priviliged to have guests who return year after year to spend their holidays with us.
