Rawson Village has 20 motel units with AAA Tourism 3.5* rating. Each room has its own private ensuite, colour television, radio, heating and airconditioning, electric blankets, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities and telephone. DVD players and DVD's are available from Reception.
Welcome to Rawson Village; the gateway to the Walhalla & Mountain Rivers region. Set on 15 acres of native bushland, Rawson Village provides the perfect base for exploring this wonderful region. We have a range of accommodation options available and are able to provide information on what to see and do in our region.
All accommodation areas, dining rooms, conference areas and recreational rooms at Rawson Village are non smoking. As Rawson Village is only 15 minutes from Walhalla, we are the ideal location to base yourself. We are also just 20 minutes from Mt St Gwinear and 35 minutes from Mt Baw Baw, so finding off mountain accommodation during the snow season is just "around the corner".

If you have any special diet requirements, please let us know at time of booking. Rawson Village has a full cooked breakfast available in our dining room each morning. Sit down to a range of cereals, fruit, juice, toast & spreads, tea & coffee and finish off with a plate of bacon, eggs, tomato and sausage - that's what we call a hearty breakfast!
awson Village provides the perfect base for exploring the Mountain Rivers region, with our family friendly facilities, we are only minutes away from Walhalla, Mt St Gwinear, and the Thomson Dam. On 4 June 2008 the South Face Road opened and this will enable guests staying at Rawson Village easy access to Mt Baw Baw snow fields.
Rawson Village also manages the heated indoor swimming pool on behalf of the Baw Baw Shire. The pool is open to the public from 1 November 2008 until April 2009. During weekends and school holidays the pool is open from 1pm to 7pm daily. Weekdays the pool is open from 4pm - 6pm. The pool can also be hired outside these hours for groups and special occassions.
