Sytlish yet simple, the cabins are designed to impart welcoming familiarity and warmth without the intrusion of telephones or television. As Freycinet Lodge is located within a pristine National Park, entry fees do apply. Passes are available from the visitor information centre at the entrance to the park or Freycinet Lodge reception with prices for a 24 hour vehicle pass starting at $20.00. At Freycinet Lodge, children 4 years and under at the date of arrival stay free of charge (maximum of 2 children per room) if utilising existing bedding and if accompanied by a paying adult.

Historic Meredith House (circa 1853) provides high quality bed and breakfast accommodation. In the main house there are seven en-suite queen bedrooms, some have stunning views across great Oyster Bay to Freycinet Peninsula. Adjoining the house are 4 semi-self contained studios, each is comfortably proportioned and with the addition off road parking and a private veranda on to the garden. Full breakfast is served each morning in our sunny breakfast. Located centrally in the historic coastal town of Swansea on Tasmania's sunny east coast it is the perfect base for exploring the Freycinet region.

You will find peace, simplicity and great natural beauty at Piermonts snug stone cottages. Set on 240 hectares of serene private beach frontage on Great Oyster Bay, the six cottages overlook the granite peaks of Freycinet Peninsula. Built bio-sustainably from local stone and timbers, the cottages have roofs of Kashmiri slate, wood fires and quality fittings. Each has a neutral magnetic field to guarantee restful sleep. You will feel renewed, recharged and revitalised by the rest, the peace and the beautiful surroundings inside and outside your cottage. Beachcomb along the endless silver sands, explore the natural bushland on the property, fish, snorkel or boat on the pristine waters of this safe, secluded bay. Look out for dolphins, perhaps whales and penguins at dusk. Dip into the solar-heated pool, play tennis by day or under lights (though it's light until after 9pm in summer). Enjoy the peace and privacy of your cottage by catering for yourself or take advantage of the splendid table dhote dining in the original Piermont homestead, built in 1837...

The Chalets have been recently constructed and sited to ensure breathtaking views overlooking a sheltered swimming beach. The Chalets are fully self-contained with 2 bedrooms providing comfortable accommodation for 4 or some accommodate up to 6 people. Some Chalets offer a spa and all have an outdoor living space on a balcony promoting a casual beachside holiday atmosphere. Similarly, the property offers several Studios with stunning views of the Freycinet Peninsula from both indoor and outdoor living spaces. The Studios are fully self-contained open planned 1 bedroom cabins providing all the comforts of home and some. The property offers a swimming pool, communal BBQ pavilion, children's playground, and games room. Stroll down to the beach to relax or participate in various water activities. The Swansea township is a short beach walk from the property or head off in the other direction for 15 kilometres or so of unrestricted beach frontage leading to the Freycinet Peninsula...
