Tapeka is just two minutes from historic Russell with island boat tours, attractions, shops, vineyardcand restaurants. Only three hours drive from Auckland via the Opua car ferry. Tapeka Del Mar has unobstructed beach and bay views with an endless procession of boats passing and awesome sunsets. Direct access to a safe, sandy, all tide swimming beach with no roads to cross or sand dunes to negotiate. The outdoor living and entertaining area is superb with a large deck surrounded by seating with a table, umbrella, loungers, Cape Cod chairs and BBQ. Villa du Fresne is located on Tapeka Point, just two kilometres from Russell. The uninterrupted sea views and sound of waves provide a relaxing atmosphere in an absolute waterfront position. This Mediterranean-style villa offers two spacious guest suites. The Villa suite has a one or two-bedroom option and is self-contained with a full kitchen, breakfast supplies for self-catering, and the stocked pantry is complemented by a vegetable garden and grapevine in season. The bedrooms and lounge lead to a conservatory opening to the lawn overlooking the beach. The Roberton Room is a king/twin with ensuite and available for the bed and continental breakfast option. The hosts live in a separate wing of the villa, which ensures guest privacy.
